Many of us can add some exercises in our daily schedule but, every exercise has a reason and proper way of doing it. Same goes with yoga and Pilates, which you need to, do in a proper and step by step manner. Pilates is an exercise which makes your mind and body healthy and strengthening the whole work station of your body.
Though you might find it easier to perform the exercise if seen visually but, if not done properly in practice, it might be harmful. Here are few exercises and their benefits:
Beginner:
The bug- Under this exercise, you need to lie down on your back making your body parts parallel to each other. Move your arms upwards, palms facing forward and stretch the right arm back. This exercise will provide you emotional boost by enhancing your mind and body concentration. Your focus and concentration will increase.
Intermediate Double Leg Stretch:
This exercise is for those who have followed the 1st level and done it successfully. In this, you need to lie down on you back with straight body.
Now you have to life your hands and head in upward position. Now slowly you have to raise your legs upwards with toes out and sharp. Do this 8 to 10 times repeatedly. This will help your body connect the upper and lower abdominals. It will make you a solid unit.
Open Leg Rocker:
This is an advanced move exercise. Under this, seat yourself down on the mat and slowly lift up your legs in a V shape. Get hold of both your ankles with the help of hands and try to resist the position to repeat it by 5 to 8 times. This exercise will help you boosting your imagination power while doing this exercise and making your core strength stronger.
