There are many different kinds of aero pilates exercises that can be performed using this set up or machine and the following part of the article shall focus on the most popular and useful ones. You can refer to the following for help.
- The first type of aero Pilate exercise is the tricep press. This particular exercise is used to provide training to the tricep arm muscles. This exercise uses only two parts of the machine-the hand grip and the bench which is inclinable.
Adjust the bench in such a way that it can be moved from a flat position to an inclined one. The greater the incline of the bench, the tougher the exercise is going to get.
Lie on the bench with your head on the head rest and bring your legs to the tabletop position. Your knees must be above your hips and you would have to hold your elbows at your sides bent at a 90 degree angle. Now point your fingers to the ceiling and then move back to the original position. - Press away is the next aero Pilate exercise. It helps to train the core muscles to support the torso while sliding on the inclinable bench.
You would need to kneel on the bench facing the foot rest bar.Keep your back and thighs in the same line and hold the top of the bar with your hands.
Now press your knees away from the bar and slide the bench in the direction of the top of the machine.
