Produced from the distillation of an Ecuadorian tree, Ocotea has a complex aroma that is known for its skin-cleansing properties.
It is ANESTHETIC, ANTIBACTERIAL, ANTIDIARRHEAL, ANTIFUNGAL (yeast), ANTI-INFLAMMATORY, DISINFECTANT, and EUPEPTIC (promotes good digestion).
Historical Uses: Ocotea was traditionally used as a disinfectant and for digestive support.
Possible Uses: BLOOD CLOTS, DIGESTION, reduce SWELLING, and may help enhance WEIGHT LOSS (in conjunction with proper exercise and healthy eating) by helping to balance the pituitary and endocrine systems.
